Get Ready For A Greek Festivale at Elaia

Are you in the mood to experience something unique and delicious to Launceston? At Elaia, we offer a variety of Greek dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Last weekend, our slow-roasted Greek-style lamb sold out quickly—and it’s easy to see why! We also have roasted chicken thighs with lemon garlic sauce served with rustic prasorizo, and our famous Yemista stuffed peppers and tomatoes served with baked lemon potatoes. To finish off your meal, enjoy homemade baklava and galaktoboureko with a cup of authentic Greek coffee. Read on to learn more about the delicious dishes that await you at Elaia!

Slow-Roasted Lamb
We prepare our slow-roasted lamb for over 6 hours to ensure maximum flavor. The tender, juicy meat is served with baked lemon potatoes, creamy homemade tzatziki and sprinkled with mouthwatering rosemary and herbs for an unforgettable experience. It’s no wonder this dish is so popular!

Roasted Chicken Thighs
For those who prefer poultry over red meat, we offer our juicy and savoury roasted chicken thighs, infused with  lemon garlic sauce, served with a rustic prasorizo (aka leek rice) for an added burst of flavour. This savory dish will have you saying OPA! and wanting more!

Yemista
Our vegetarian customers love having the option of Yemista on the menu. This classic dish consists of stuffed peppers, tomatoes and zucchini served with baked lemon potatoes. It’s a perfect entrée or side dish to share with friends or family.

Finishing Touches
To complete your meal, indulge in some decadent homemade baklava or galaktoboureko—both classic desserts made from phyllo pastry. Wash it all down with a cup of freshly brewed Greek coffee for a truly authentic experience!

Whether you missed out on Festivale tickets and at a loose end, or still going and already experiencing Elaia fomo, come join us from 5.00pm Wednesday to Saturday. So get your taste buds ready and make your reservations because Elaia is hosting its own festival of flavors. We look forward to seeing you in one of Launceston's unforgettable weekends.
