☕️ Wake up with Elaia - New Trading Hours
We've added earlier starts to our breakfast and dinner services as we know life doesn't slow down because it gets cold.
New Trading Hours
Monday to Saturday Breakfast from 7.30am
Monday to Saturday Lunch from midday
Wednesday to Saturday Dinner from 4.00pm
This week we're celebrating Greek Orthodox Easter and we're offering a special Greek Easter Menu for dinner. Unfortunately not quite the traditional lamb spit, but imagine how lively Charles Street would be if we had one giant lamb on the spit in our outdoor dining area. Unfortunately I left the council approval a little too late. Maybe next year? Although we traditionally enjoy the feast on Easter Sunday we're breaking the rules and offering you our special Greek Easter menu for dinner this week only.
Nothing like Tasmanian wines to make the Elaia dining experience complete! New to our pouring list as well as available by the bottle we have three stunning wines that perfectly complement our menu.
Waterton Hall 20 Year Old Vines Shiraz
Excited to finally have a Tassie Shiraz on our pour list! Dark fruits, savoury spice, elegant, lingering complex Shiraz. Deep plum in colour.
Bell & Gong Sauvignon Blanc
Pale golden colour. Fresh, clean, faintly herbal aromas with a hint of sweetness. Palate is lightly peppery, delicate & fresh with crisp apple, lychee & lime peel and a lingering mango finish. Well balanced acidity & very good. Subtle & harmonious.
Elsewhere Vineyard Pinot Noir
A vibrant palate with a lovely balance of berry fruits, cherry and spices, with a mild oak.
