Winter Trading Hours. But Really Mean Covid Trading Hours

As lucky as we have been in Tassie, the Accommodation and Hospitality Industry has been at the mercy of and impacted by border restrictions and lockdowns in NSW and Victoria.  The local support has been phenomenal and we are very grateful that our team are able to rock up to work, see your faces and give you some Elaia love. We are all very appreciative.

At Elaia our Winters are now very different to pre Covid. With seating restrictions still in place, and the colder weather, to guarantee indoor dining, we do ask that you pre book ahead of time for breakfast, lunch and especially dinner. I know it takes the fun out of being a last minute walk in, but we don’t like turning you away or asking you to sit outside while you wait for an inside table. Unless of course you don’t mind dining under the heaters in our outdoor area.

Dinner service is a real tricky one at the moment. Some nights will be busy with earlier bookings and takeaways, which means our kitchen may make the call to close earlier than our advertised time. It’s a decision we haven’t made lightly as we always pride on being there for you, but some evenings in Launceston are apocalyptic when not even the Zombies will venture out.

If you wish to dine with us for dinner, we encourage you to make an online booking or please call ahead and check before you venture out to dine with us as a walk in. We’d hate to turn you away.
