Summer, Christmas and Covid Safety

Dear Elaia Family,

The time has come where we open our borders and welcome back family and friends and visitors to our great state.

We have upgraded our Covid-19 Safety plan to comply with current regulations as well as keeping our ‘low risk’ status well after the borders reopen.

We can only remain low risk and continue to stay open and provide you and our team with a safe Elaia environment if we all co-operate and comply with our Covid-19 Safety Policy as well as follow Public Health advice to keep on top of Covid.

Our Teams safety and your safety are paramount but we need your help so please be respectful of our Team as they monitor and follow Covid-19 Safety regulations and comply with Public Health advice.

Our Team are looking forward to looking after you over this special time of the year as they endeavour to make your dining experience as seamless but extraordinary as possible.

Elaia Covid Safety Policy

Face masks are now required. You may remove your mask briefly to eat or drink but must put it back on immediately afterwards.

Remember to check in using the TasApp on your way in and don't forget the squirt of sanitiser.

Entrance into the cafe is via the door with direct access to the bar, espresso, cake display area.   Upon entering, if you haven’t already please check in, state your name and time of your booking and we will take your specially reserved table.

When you are ready to leave, please let us know and we will bring your bill to the table along with our EFTPOS machine so you can settle your account at your table.   After you have paid, please use the exit door in the main dining room area.

If you and other patrons at your table wish to split the bill, you may queue in our outdoor dining area no more than 2 guests at a time and pay through the window.

Our bar area is also our food and coffee serving area and our team will be monitoring density and congestion and they will keep it clear of queues of guests wishing to pay.  We appreciate your co-operation in keeping this area clear of congestion and splitting your bills in our outdoor area.

If you wish to order Takeaway food and coffee, please order and pay in our outdoor dining area through the window.   You are welcome to wait for your order under our awning and we will call you when your order is ready.  Please don’t wait inside as we need to comply with seating number restrictions. Our Team will advise if we are within our seating capacity should you wish to be seated and enjoy a beverage while you wait for your takeaway order.

Whilst you are dining with us and you wish to use our facilities please use the Exit door in the Main Dining room area to make your way to the side of the building where our restrooms are situated.

Please wands hands thoroughly with soap and water and sanitise after using the facilities.

If reserving space for a pram, please include infant in booking numbers.  Pram space is limited so first in best dressed.  We don't have high chairs so if you requested one, please bring a pram and let us know so we can reserve you a bigger space.

Our seating capacity in our Main Indoor Dining Room is 30.  If possible, please make your booking online in advance as walk ins this time of the year will be limited and we’d hate for you to miss out.
