Your January Wine and Food Edit

Summer nights and alfresco dining has gone next level this year. Great to see our outdoor dining space a hub of activity with great vibes. Remember to request an outdoor table when making your booking with us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Perry has added a couple of new January specials for our popular Twice cooked Pork Belly and Risotto. Regular a la carte menu also available.

Twice Cooked Pork Belly with potato skordalia,  a fennel, cucumber and red onion salad, and apple and ginger compote.  Skordalia is a Greek garlic potato dip or spread and ours will be served like a Greek garlic potato mash with the Pork Belly.

Spicy Tiger Prawn Risotto with crispy soft shell crab. You might need to roll your sleeves up for this one as it’s head, tails and shells as that’s where the flavour's at.   Eat like no-one is watching.

Are You Game to try something new? We’ve added a couple of fun and cheerful wine labels from Fowles Wine, Strathbogie Ranges in Vic because we need something cool and funky to look at while we’re eating and drinking.

Are You Game Pinot Grigio
Palate: Medium bodied with flavours of peach and melon with a fresh citrus crunch and lingering minerality on the finish.  Food Match:  Spicy Tiger Prawn Risotto, Soutzoukakia, Chicken Souva In A Bowl or Pitta.  It could also help you wash down Two Hungry Greeks Feast.
By the bottle $39.00.  Share amongst friends.

Ginger Prince NV Sparkling Rose
This is a gangsta sparkling rose and part of their Exception range.  Plus we're partial to the label as it looks like Dylan our own Front of House Ginger Prince.  Palate.  A blend of Sangiovese, Pinot Noir and Grenache which lend themselves beautifully to Rosé and this sparkling tonic of life and good times. Summery, light red fruits combine with refreshing, velvety bubbles for an exciting dry and crisp finish. Food Match:  Desserts.  Pizza.  Chilli Salted Squid.  By the bottle $41.  By the glass $8.50  Good times

Stefano Lubiano Sauvignon Blanc, Tas.
This one is for the grown ups. 'Tailored to appeal to the more mature wine palate'.  Palate. Flinty, lightly oaked, chalky, earthy Sauvignon blanc featuring more elegant and balanced fruit structure.
Food Match: Twice Cooked Pork Belly, Char Grilled Octopus, Two Hungry Greeks, Mushroom Pasta.
By the bottle $51 gl $10.50
Stefano Wine and Elaia Food has a nice ring to it

Summer is all about fizz and this summer we're making it all about pink fizz.  We've covered all bases with Zonzo Estate Bellini Di Cristina for Breakfast and Bottomless Brunches, Jansz NV Sparkling Rose for those long lingering lunches and the gangsta Ginger Prince Sparkling Rose to wash down Two Hungry Greeks whilst being entertained by the e-scooters speeding down Charles Street.
