Can you cook with Governor Olive Oil?
Absolutely! While there are inaccurate reports that olive oil has a low smoke point and is not healthy to cook with, in fact, the opposite is true. Some studies show that cooking with extra virgin olive oil actually increases the nutritional value of food. Extra Virgin Olive Oil – especially high phenolic olive oil, such as The Governor – has a smoke point in the 400 degrees Fahrenheit (205 degrees of Celsius) range (definitely safe for cooking).
